It is the first revision carried out by the Editor and / or associate editors; has a maximum duration of 5 days. Some of the considered approaches are:

Decision 1: To reject in the event of not fulfilling the points 1, 2, 4 and 5
Decision 2: To carry out editorial changes in way and presentation. The author will have one week to carry out and to give the corrected article
Decision 3: To accept it without modifications, in this case the article is clever to be subjected to the academic evaluation
Each one of the decisions will be negotiated and informed by the main Editor from the magazine to the authors, associate editors and referees, as it corresponds in each case.

Academic evaluation
Is carried out starting from the revision system for even to blind double and in strict anonimity. For this process two referees are used and in case contradiction exists in the decision of the referees, the article will be evaluated by a third referee.

Selection of the referees
The magazine Advances possesses a database of national and international referees, classified by academic category, distributed by disciplinary areas and institutions, this way the Editorial Committee of our magazine guarantees that the referees are external to the entity publisher and the entity of the authors that you/they send their taxes.

Time of the academic revision
The article can be evaluated until 3 times like maximum, in accordance with the complexity of the changes and the suggestions of the referees. In a first academic revision, the referees will make and they will emit a first opinion in a maximum period of 3 weeks. If it is necessary, will carry out and will give one second and third academic report in a maximum period of 2 weeks for each case. The total time of the academic revision won't exceed the 4 months.

Decision 2. to Make changes in the article. On the other hand, the changes have been classified as minimum changes, moderate changes and complex changes

1. To order bibliographical references
2. Consistent writing of the introduction
3. Adapted words key
4. Holding of charts and figures
In this case, the author will have 2 weeks to correct and to give the article. In case the article is revised by second time, the author will have 1 week to give the corrected article.
" Moderate changes:
1. To clarify materials and methods
2. To reorganize the structure of the article
3. To re-do the introduction (to clarify novelty / importance and contribution)
4. To synthesize results
5. It improves the charts and figures
In this case, the author will have 3 weeks to correct and to give the article; In case the article is revised by second time, the author will have 1 week to give the corrected article.
" Complex changes:
1. To clarify the correspondence among: introduction / materials and methods / results and conclusions
2. To improve the discussion of the results
3. To expose the results better, of agreement with the established objectives
4. To upgrade bibliographical references
5. To clarify materials and methods in correspondence with the obtained results
In this case, the author will have 4 weeks to correct and to give the article. In case the article is revised by second time, the author will have one week to give the corrected article.

Each one of the decisions will be negotiated and informed by the main editor from the magazine to the authors, referees and writing correction and style, as well as realization, as it corresponds in each case.
Final evaluation
It is carried out starting from that the article has been published and processed is a correspondent to the author so that this, in a maximum term of 5 days notifies to the editor of the magazine its agreement for the publication of the same one. The author will only be able to carry out minimum changes of grammar and writing. In case the author is exceeded of the established time, the article will be postponed for publication in number of later editions of the magazine Advances.
